"Kaleidoscope" emerged in an effort to promote productivity of people with mental health problems or with other disabilities. Being a small, independent and therefore flexible organisation we felt that we could help tackle some of the bureaucratic problems, as well as ofter solutions to problems that the personnel working in employment schemes are faced with on a day-to day basis.
One of the "problem" areas, as we saw it, was to find buyers for the products. Another challenge was producing/selling marketable goods. With the above in mind we focused on entering the trade world.

"Kivotos" (The Ark)

"Kivotos" (The Ark) is an original gift shop with hampers and other beautiful presentations of traditional Greek products/seasonal goods.
As a member of the therapeutic social co-operatives of the Dromokaiteion Psychiatric Hospital, "Kivotos" aims to provide employment for people with mental health problems who now live in the community. At the same time, "Kivotos" ventures to promote good old-fashioned Greek eating and drinking habits! Our customers can make their own selection from a variety of products, based on granny's recipies from all over Greece, accompanied by bottles of traditional Greek drinks.
We have recently included seasonal presents besides our standard food & drinks stock.
Retail/wholesale of individual items is also available.

Commercial Exhibitions

Participation in over 20 wholesale/retail commercial exhibitions: coordination of 30 sheltered work schemes/therapeutic co-operatives; promotion of their products.
